Scholarship, Toolships & Grants

Harwich Garden Club

The GCH is proud to support our Harwich youth in learning about our natural world. It is our hope that by studying the environment, the next generation will understand how to respect it and care for it.

Scholarship...

We offer a $3,000 scholarship every year to a local college student who is pursuing environmental studies, botany, horticulture, landscape design or other related fields such as conservation, forestry, water purification, oceanography, and marine biology. The scholarship is awarded after her/his successful completion of a freshman year at an accredited four-year college.

2025 Scholarship Recipient

The $3000 Scholarship was awarded to Trent Levesque by Celeste Mahoney, Scholarship Chair, along with (L) Lynne Drummond, Community Outreach Chair and (R) Maryann Hoar, President. Trent just completed his Freshman Year at the University of Vermont where he received excellent grades. He is interested and studying about sustainability and renewable energy solutions and envisions developing new ways of using green sources of energy that will allow for a sustainable society without sacrificing modern standards of living.  He is a graduate of Cape Cod Regional Technical High School.
